Single barrel of extra-malty Deth's Tar rested on 14 lbs. of freshly roasted whole bean El Salvadorian coffee from Dark Matter for 24 hours, producing a strong cold brew coffee out of beer rather than water. This uber-aggressive coffee treatment is balanced by heaps of chocolatey malt, providing subtle mocha vibes without the nibs. Yes, it contains caffeine.

I had this on draft 8/7/25 @ the Hopleaf.
Black/brown appearance.
Small dark tan head; minimal lacing remained.
Massive coffee & chocolate notes in the nose; I laughed out loud when I smelled it.
Creamy medium thick mouthfeel.
Big time chocolate flavors up front; big time dark roast coffee bean notes on the finish.
It's big dumb fun, but a few ounces is plenty.
