The single "money barrel" of 2025 Apple Brandy Ryeway received a double dose of fire toasted French oak, providing a balancing boost of brioche, vanilla and smoky caramel

Had on tap at Deep Wood release 11/14/25. Terrific. The winner of the day.

I had this on draft 11/14/25 @ Revolution's taproom.
Opaque brown/orange appearance.
Almost no khaki head; no lacing remained.
Smooth, wood forward apple brandy notes in the nose & on the palate.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
A tasty Deep Wood rarity.

Had on tap. Blackish brown opaque pour with a finger of brown foam. Smells is wonderful with the sweet brandy and rye contrasting and complimenting, oak, vanilla, caramel and molasses tones mix in. Taste though, while good, is significantly sweeter than expected, not syrupy but verging, the brighter barrel pushes this more than the rye. As it warmed it got boozier and thinner in profile, a little hot. Prefer the darker barrels but still a good beer
