An English Brown Ale with an American sensibility, as the alcohol content is considerably higher in this beer than traditional English Browns. We used all English malts and English hops, save for a handful of Warrior hops for bittering. The caramel sweetness is well balanced with the herbal tea-like qualities in the finish, making for a very enjoyable strong brown ale.
