A citrusy and refreshing Belgian-style pale ale hopped with Cascade, Citra, and whole Crystal hops for massive aromas and flavors! Fermented with our Belgian Wit yeast for an extra dose of complexity, this one is very drinkable and extremely aromatic.

12oz can, dated 01.14.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 03.30.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a bright golden copper color, light amber hues, fairly clear with a big and tall fluffy white head, excellent retention and lovely webbed lacing. The aroma is nice, piney and earthy hop, belgian-esque yeast profile, fruity, spicy, bready, peppery, mineral water. The flavors are good, tangy hop, bitter and piney, green, herbal, floral, peppery and yeasty, lots of pale grain, some soft fruitiness, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively and vibrant medium body, easy and smooth finish that is quite dry.
Verdict: A nice beer from Revolution. A somewhat styleless Belgian American fusion that works on a few different levels. Belgian vibes but hard to pin down, a little crazy but it works.

Pours a good color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grains and floral notes. Taste is tangy and somewhat bitter at the finish. Crisp and dry.

Dark copper colored with a light haziness. There’s a fingernail of off white on top. Moderately soapy lacing. There’s fruity yeast aroma blended with sweet Belgian malt. I’m tasting sweet Belgian malt and fruity Belgian yeast. The mouth is dry and a bit warm with alcohol.

Filled February 11th 2025.
Pours a clear gold with an inch of foam, good retention and lacing.
Big notes of citrus in the smell, some toasted malt and sweetness, overall indicator is hoppy and somewhat bitter.
Taste yep, hoppy as in dry hopped, loads of citrus notes, tangy with maybe orange zest, light toasted malt and light sweet notes.
Lively carbonation brings some tingling on my tongue.
Very nice. Would I seek it out? Probably not.

12 oz. can pours a clear reddish orange with small white head and some lacing. Smells like an IPA with citrus, piney, and floral hops up front. There are hints of melon, honeysuckle, orange and lemon with malts and yeast that remind me of a Belgian ale or dubbel. Body is medium. Tastes on the sweet side at first with a nice bitter finish. Very enjoyable. I look forward to this one each year, and was sad when they skipped it last year. I actually got to meet the bearded brewer at Revolution's taproom, in the same building where I had worked five years earlier. Un Poco Loco, indeed.

Crystal-clear golden body; well-distributed carbonation bubbles; thick head, dense, frothy, semi-creamy. Outstanding aroma; light malt backbone with a citrus and spicy hop overtone; light pine sap. The taste amps up the aroma characteristics; honey-like malt taste; citrus and pine flavors; moderate overall bitterness. Heavy body; beautiful residual sugar stickiness; delicate coarseness on the palate.
This is just a beautiful beer. The can label partially states: 'Exceptionally Aromatic' -- I cannot argue this point. Now, I need to track down a fresher version...

So, Revolution is paying homage to Orval with this one? Awesome. I’m always down to try something from Revolution, and it’s cool that they’re brewing this classic style. Let’s crack it open and see if it can stand up to the gold standard of the style
Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 2 fingers of fluffy off white hear that slowly fades to a cao and leaves decent lacing
The nose leans heavily into the fruity esters and I’m perfectly fine with that. I’m picking up on aromas of overripe banana, lemon zest, bubblegum, earthy wheat, bready malt, orange zest, light clove, and floral hops
It’s less sweet in taste, but also does feel as defined as the aroma. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bready malt, clove, black pepper, lemon zest, floral hops, light banana, and orange zest. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, black pepper, overripe banana, honey, earthy hops, lemongrass, and clove
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes dry and spicy
Well it’s no Orval, but this is damn tasty regardless

A nice clear golden pour, nice eggshell colored head leaves some spotty lacing. The aroma from the yeast stands out, some fruit is noticable. Crisp, clean and easy drinking.

Had on tap. Murky bronze pour with a white head and plenty of lacing. Yeah this is a delightful classic in the making. The fact that I have lived in chicagoland for years and am now just trying this is a tragedy! It takes the old world floral yeast but bring new world hops without losing the script along the way. Nose has a heavenly combo of fruity hops, banana, and belgian yeast. Taste is this plus light bubblegum, thought the nose was cleaner. Feel is yeast, airy, artful, and pleasant with soft waves meeting hop bitter defining the body. Perfect spring time porch beer

Pours out of the can a crystal clear orange-gold with 2 fingers of head when poured on the rougher side into a glass. Pretty decent retention. Smells yeasty, spicy, and maybe clove? Taste follows the nose, with a lingering bitterness on the tail end. This beer is a breath of fresh air to be honest, quite unique in a world surrounded by lagers and IPAs.
