Build-A-Barrel for our friends at Bottle Theory.
This single barrel of extra-malty D.B.V.S.O.D. was aged one year apiece in Russell's Reserve and Weller 10 Year casks with a blend of new French and American oaks added, and finished in Amburana. A surge of roasted malt and bitter chocolate gives way to wood-derived vanilla, coconut, and caramel ahead of a tidy finish of fire-toasted oak and fine bourbon.
