The Beer Temple (Chicago, Illinois) - 5/9/26 The Beer Temple Beer Notes: House Beer Pub Ale. $10 plus tax 20 oz cask pull, 4.2% ABV.
Appearance: Creamy generous long living gives generous thin lacing and cover over the golden yellow base for muddy if this pour. Nice pour. 4.5
Aroma: Pine aroma, mild in strength, backed by salt cracker and tangerine. Nice. 3.75
Taste: Salty cracker asserts leadership, pine and tangerine still there but light and faint, respectively. Digging this. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Light and easy, balanced leaning on slightly bitter and dry. Watery body, salty cracker continues its lead through the finish. 3.75
Overall: This is a good light and easy cask pour, petty much a cask pilsner pour nice for the warming weather. Solid cask house beer for Chicago’s finest Beer Bar. 4.00 NBW 303 WBAYDN 4950 5/9/26

I had this on cask at the Beer Temple 2/27/26.
Mostly see-through gold appearance.
Nice bright white head; nice, frothy lacing remained.
Pineapple & pine notes in the nose.
Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
Pineapple flavors up front with a pine-y bite on the finish.
A solid cask ale; I'd have another.
