Our light bodied German-style Black Lager, or Schwarzbier, is a smooth, malt-forward brew, with earthy-roasty notes and a biting hop finish. May the Schwarz be with you!

Had this on tap at the Brewpub. This black lager was a nice malt forward beer. For only having a 5% ABV it had a nice full mouthfeel and did not feel light at all. It had a nice roasty coffee flavor with some breadiness to it. The sweetness from the malt blended well with the slight bit of smokiness at the end.

Drank 9/29/21 @ Revolution's Taproom.
Black appearance.
Nice tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Burnt leaves, acorn & brown sugar notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Fresh earth, burnt caramel & acorn flavors up front; a faint hop bite (along with pleasant carbonation) on the finish.
Rich yet easy to drink; a triumphant Schwarzbier.
