On-tap at the Kedzie taproom. Served in my party mug.
A - White foam settles to wisps, a thin collar, and specks of lace. Transparent amber body.
S - Lightly fruity hops and sweet caramel malts. A touch of toasted grain and wheat, with some yeasty bread coming out as the beer warms up. Very much an American wheat in that there's no German yeast character.
T - The taste is a tad more generic. Reminds me of a malty harvest ale, with toasted grains, wheat, and nebulous fruity ale yeast. Some very faint citrus and tropical dry-hopping that lingers into the finish.
M - Pleasant carbonation, dry and slightly grainy, with a clean finish. Sufficient heft for the the listed 5.3%, and mildly chewy in texture.
D - Not the most exciting beer, but fairly easy to drink. Unlike some Revolution offerings I had no problem drinking my entire mug of this one. Probably wouldn't order again, but I can see this being enjoyable to those with conservative palates.
