Fairly red body. Poured with very little carbonation. Big sour aroma. I wonder if this beer might have gone bad. Nope, tastes fine. Minor vanilla and oak notes. Drinkable.

A - Copper-red, small ring of foam.
S - Bourbon explosion! Nice vanilla and leather, malt, oak, alcohol. Exactly what to expect; a bourbon-barrel aged Irish red.
T - Doesn't quite live up to the nose. A bit watered down, like a Elijah Craig with a spritz of seltzer water. Bourbon flavor comes through nicely, notes of booze, oak, vanilla, leather, peat; but feels thin. The base beer is obliterated by the barrel, lending only a twinge of sweetness at the beginning of the sip, and a sliver of malt at the end. No bitterness.
M - Small and lively bubbles, soft, thin, light. Slight syrup stickiness.
O - Good, but would not go back for another. A solid beer, and early attempt at barrel-aging from Pig Minds, but fails to stand out in any real way.
