Pours a beautiful ruby red with nice lacing head. Smell is rich Door County black cherries, vanilla, and powdered cocoa, with subtle sours notes. Taste is light and crisp with mellowed dark cherry, light cocoa, with lingering cherry finish. Very unusual, yet easy drinking, amber with great cherry notes. Reminds me of a less tart/sour Enigma by New Glarus. A nice offering from an ever creative brewery.
