Look: The color is of a five-year-old penny, where the brown has taken over for red. Hard to think of this as a "pale." Not unpleasant to look at, but unique.
Smell: Pine, turpentine.
Taste: Boozy up front, with a chemical aftertaste. In between, pine bitter.
Feel: Small bubbles, on the light side.
Overall: The best Pig Minds bottled beer I've had yet. Having said that, I'm still not convinced any aspect of it came out the way they wanted---as if the attributes are simply what the brewers got, instead of being the intentional results of recipe design.

Tasted from a one pint six fluid ounce bottle on July 22, 2015. Look is cloudy light amber. Smells of citrus. Tastes of citrus and caramel. Feel is prickly.
