Russian Imperial Stout aged 12 months in Woodford Reserve barrels. We believe this to be one of our finest ever barrel-aged releases. We let the barrel do the work on this one-imparting notes of caramel, cocao and vanilla while wrapping it all in a rich and warm oaky bourbon character.

Thick, oily, black pour, light doesn't penetrate, small khaki head fades quickly. Snot lockers says aromas are muted, chocolate and whiskey. Taste buds agree and are enjoying the flavors of some dark fruit, plums, berries, molasses. Smooth, creamy texture. 11.8% is well hidden, goes down a bit to easily.
