Sweet, orange citrus, tropical hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows well with a citrus hoppy bitter bite on the swallow. It has nice depth and feel to it.

Fairly deep, hazy golden color with nice, frothy, but not too poofy head. Aroma not overpowering - subtle. Clean taste, nice slight tang with a great NE IPA taste and feel. Would love to be able to buy this back in MPLS. Reminds me of Fair State Mirror Universe and Modist False Pattern, which are two of my faves.

Hazy orange with a billowy cap of foam. I get a pleasing salad of pineapple and citrus that comes together nicely, both aroma and when sipping. It’s an easy drinking that begs for another fill.

Very nice hazy from Henhouse. On tap at Local Barrel.
Glowing gold yellow body with a bright fluffy white head, great lacing.
Pithy orange, tropical fruit, touch of pine on the finish. Pillowy and soft mouthfeel but still a medium to low bitterness. Not a very lasting finish but it’s an easy drinker.
Overall would like some more lasting flavor on this one but still very enjoyable!

one of the better cloudy ipa types i have had in 2017, and this is going against some really exceptional ones. i have finally come around on the style, at least the best examples of it, and beers like this one is why. its got a pulpy orange juice look to it from the can, which has some really cool graphics and verbiage on it, i love the attention to detail there. huge white head rising above a now classically hazy body, murky but without chunky sediment, attractive by current standards for this type of thing. aroma is amazing, belma, mosaic, and el dorado hops they say, and while i definitely smell the mosaic, the other two are equally distinctive, perhaps even with the el dorado at the forefront. lemon and orange notes, vegetal and floral delicate aspects, cantaloupe and honey notes as well, and some leafy bitterness, all absurdly fresh and forward, this was canned just two days before consumption! the flavor is brilliant, the hops are there all the way, and for such a dry hopped nose, the flavor really follows it for once! melon and citrus, cut flowers and grasses, some oily richness here, fairly high alpha too, but made soft, smooth, balanced, and mild in a way by the earthy, fluffy grain base that i would think features some oats and wheat to get it this silky. this is a high headed beer in that its on trend, but its so much more refined than almost anything else i have had in the category, it just is a delight to drink on, both juicy and also bitter enough to satisfy me as an ipa. super impressed with henhouse on my latest trip out west, and this was the best of the ones i has. gorgeous east coast style ipa, absolutely delightful!

16oz can into tulip. Canned 9/12/17.
A: Pours a muddy, cloudy, dark golden tea color beneath a couple inches of fluffy white head. Head quickly faded into a thin collar leaving wispy lace.
S: Super juicy, sweet, and fresh nose dripping with juicy tropical fruit. There's a tangy and herbal/pine resin bite that came out after the sweet candy-like notes disappear.
T: Muddled hop profile mixing flavors of tropical fruits and fresh, tingly, mint/resin notes. Grapefruit pith finish, and leafy, pine, slight peppery/herbal aftertaste. Mild, lingering, aspirin sensation in the aftertaste.
M: Medium-full body, soft and soggy mouthfeel, herbal/pithy bitterness, tingly hop oils, soft carbonation.
O: Great fresh nose and fresh tingly hop oil taste full of fresh resinous oil. Flavors are sweet and muddled.
