This 2024 version is brewed with Mosaic and Sabro hops. Pours a clear yellow amber with plenty of fine-grained foam in the Zundert globe. Pineapple aroma with maybe a whiff of onions plus a musty bit. Tangy with just a bit of sweetness. Fruity but restrained with a delicious honeydew melon flavor. Some dank resiny notes to even it out but modest bitter aftertaste. This must be my favorite HenHouse brew since their 2019 Kubrick's Landing.

I went in pretty skeptical, never been a big sorachi hop fan. Came out going "that might be the best sorachi hopped beer I've ever had." Full context: well yeah, Mosaic did some heavy lifting here.
Pours of moderate haziness of a hazy ipa. 1" full of head, looks good in that sense. Dense. Not too many hazy ipas of this good appearance. The aroma had all the hallmarks of Mosaic: the weed, the berries, the tropical fruit. With this backdrop, a hit of lemon from the Sorachi works out quite nice and complimentary. Ok ok, so maybe Sorachi has been cast as lead actor in the past, but I really dug the work here, shit fire up a nomination for best supporting hop actor.
The taste banged away in a similar manner. Quite the different pairing of hop bouquets but it works nicely. Mouth feel just fine, 50ibu level of bitterness. Not trubby or watery. Moderate all around. Henhouse is really reliable in their hoppy game, can't imagine not checking them out every opportunity I get.

With a vigorous pour this comes out a light lemon yellow with a creamy cap that eventually deflates. The lemony characteristic carries over to the nose, with a zesty citrus peel note on it. A touch spicy too, peel and pith and a hint of nutty, grainy finish. Lightly effervescent. Clean finish with a nice aftertaste. I liked it.

poured a lite hazy yellow with little head. wonderful bouquet - smells citrus / pineapple and other fruits. taste is similar to a few of their other beers. this would be a great beer for a not summer day - it's a little cold and windy today. very nice the henhouse IPAs never disappoint

Poured from a can -murky yellow/gold juice with foamy white head leaving some bubbly/frosty lacing. Nose is tropical and grassy with a bit of sweet malt. Taste follows mostly. A bit thin and almost dry on the finish ,a good warm weather quaffer.

Can ~25 days old from Lúpulo.
Extremely long synopsis on something about space flight and chickens and drinking fresh.
Hazy not thick.
Fairly light but juicy and refreshing.
Tropical mangoes and stone fruits. Floral and citrus notes.
First beer from hen house. This was pretty good for the hazy ipa style. Will continue to seek out this brewery.

Interesting beer. Tried at Mikeller’s on draft since another beer was tapped. The floral notes are immediately apparent. Color was a touch hazy, smell was like taking a bouquet of flowers and putting your face right in the middle. Initial taste was good as was the ensuing aftertaste. Effervescence was there but in an ipa. The smell and taste kept me thinking of this beer....smell of flowers on a farm or herding cattle in the Swiss alps? Not sure but if a beer makes me think it must be good. Enjoy.

Sweet, tropical hoppy nose on this one. Taste follows well, but has a thin finish that takes away a bit from enjoying it fully...slight nutty vibe on the swallow.

My favorite among the 6 IPA's I sampled at the brewery today, I took home a few 4 packs. This one is canned on 9/1/19 and consumed 9/12/19.
Pours a hazy yellow/orange, white top leaves some lace behind. Aroma is muted but pleasant. Pineapple, citrus, green hop and biscuit. The flavor is explosive. A perfectly balanced and ultra-bright combination of sour lemon, pineapple, honeydew, biscuit, and a unique, unfamiliar spicy/herbal hop . Drinks like fresh squeezed lemonade, it sure hit the spot on this late summer day.
Henhouse knocked it out of the park, yet again.

Canned 2/14/19. Sorachi Ace and Mosaic hops are the selected variety, according to the can.
L: Pours out a honey hazy yellow in color. A simple pour yielded about a finger and a half of a dense, white cap that retained nicely. Heaps of residual lacing resides on the glass as I glug this beverage.
S: Floral and vegetal with notes of citrus and pineapple. Very nice smelling, with a unique and refreshing aroma. The thing holding it back is that I really need to shove my nose into it to get a grip on what I am smelling.
T: Wow, plot twist. Given the nose, I was expecting something different. As weird as it might sound, the first thing I taste is coconut. The main things I taste are coconut, lemon, pineapple, mango and stone fruit, namely nectarine and peach. The aftertaste is slightly vegetal with mild green onion presence, but this thing has a nice earthy and juicy flavor that is admirable given the relatively low abv by todays standards.
F: Medium in body, light in weight. Great feeling beer for 6.7 percent. Carbonation is moderate and appropriately done for the style. As expected, no booze presence.
O: I am almost ashamed that I slept on Henhouse this long while living somewhat local. I am glad to have tried this brew, and I will be trying more from them while I live within their disto. I am very glad to have tried. Cheers!
