From Jules Verne’s mind straight to your lips, this double IPA is a turbo-charged version of our Hollow Moon IPA. It’s a bigger beer with bigger flavor so we had to name it after a bigger, hollower thing. Oh, did you not know? Yep. our planet is hollow too. Like a big ol’ coconut and we live on the husk. Speaking of coconuts, all the coconutty goodness in your glass comes from Sorachi Ace hops. We added way more Mosaic hops than Sorachi Ace, but that coconut aroma out shines all of Mosaic’s cannabis character like a coconut tree sprouting up on a pot farm.

Can pour - unfiltered lemony fruit juice with quickly dissipating white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is more fruity than anything else. Taste follows with tropical and citrus fruit and a hint of grassy, piney hop notes. Finishes slightly tart with a lingering citric aftertaste.

The initial appearance of a slight haze turns out to be floaties in the dark amber brew. Prickly carbonation with a big malty body. Rich and rather sweet at first sip. Flavors of sweet fruit and a sharp tangy edge. Hops listed as Sabro and Mosaic, which would explain the coconut taste along with the mango. Quite fruity and boldly flavored, but not overly bitter. this might be quite delicious in a less-aged package. From the 16 oz can dated 05/23/22.

Fresh can drop from cask n flask sj.
L: hazy orange smoothie, fluffy white head.
S: Stonefruit, yeasty like Sierra Nevada hazies. A little booze as it warms, not unpleasant. Very slight bitterness.
T: stonefruit/peaches dominate, coconut, lemon, dank, yeasty earthy.
F: Juicy but kind of astringent.
Overall: pretty good. First time I’ve experienced a coconut flavor from hops. Smooth and ez for a double ipa.
