Big persistent foam on pouring, and quite frothy in the mouth. Rather acidic and murky, even verging on sour in the finish. I don't know why this isn't classified as a hazy, it's certainly cloudy in the glass.
Hops are listed as Moutere, Wai-iti, and Waimea. Tastes like pencil shavings to me. There's a bit of pleasing peach and honeysuckle aroma, but after it hits the lips it's all aastringent herbs and unripe fruit.
Overall this is definitely the stewed herb sort of brew, but it's an interesting slush of hops. Just so austere and it gets less pleasing the more you sip. From the 16 oz can shipped from City Beer. Dated 12/21/20 on the bottom.
