Quick review from notes, on tap today at the brewery.
Murky opaque amber, tight cap of froth on the surface.
Aromas of clove and wheat, closed and somewhat yeasty.
Taste is by the books, mellow spicy clove phenolics and soft wheat undercurrent.
Body is fairly light, medium carb, could be lower for the style.
Overall a pretty textbook brewpub Dunkelweizen, not one I'd revisit.

Served in a flared pokal at the brewpub.
Still goin' strong, rockin' a semi-seasonal d-weizen. It pours a cloudy golden-amber-brown topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises clove, cinnamon, apple cider, light banana, and wheat. The taste holds notes of wheat, clove, light black pepper, and a touch of banana peel. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda watery feel. Overall, a kinda sad dunkelweizen, one that has very little of the characteristic yeast character, and one that comes across overly thin for the style (and for its own good).
