Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
Dammit, with the temperature fluctuations 'round here lately, you'd think I was back in Indiana. Not sure why I thought of that just now... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear brass topped by over a finger of lightly cream-white foam. The nose comprises plenty of vanilla bean, Creamsicle, and straight vanilla frosting. It's definitely all pretty sweet, but not overtly so, somehow, tempered by forces invisible. The taste holds notes of light sourdough biscuit and a good helping of the aforementioned frosting. The body is a hefty light, with a very light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a very nice cream ale, decidedly sweet and very easy to drink. As of this moment, the best beer put out by VV.
