Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
You may tell me the holidays are over, but the biggest one is just this weekend: Super Bowl Sunday, baby! This stuff pours a clear sunset sienna topped by a finger of glowing off-cream foam. The nose comprises molasses, brown sugar, mint, ginger, and candied orange peel. The taste brings in more of the same, with the mint occasionally taking on a sort of parsley-like character, some cinnamon and cocoa tossed in, and a blunt sense of ginger pervading throughout. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a good enough winter brew, but that weird mint/parsley thing just kinda derails everything. Beyond that, it's a nice little spicy winter warmer.
