Served in a pokal at the brewpub.
Kicking things off here with a new Czech-style pilsner. It pours a clear brass topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises very light biscuit, flowers, and decidedly mild grass. The taste brings in more of the same, with the flowers, now demonstrably sweeter, dominating the proceedings. The body is a hefty-leaning light, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall, a very pleasant little pils, one that embraces the flowery potential of the style.
