Served in a pokal at the brewpub.
I've had some good luck with local hefs lately, so I hope the trend continues here. This stuff pours a cloudy straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mild cracked wheat, light banana, a pinch of clove, and some light orange peel. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a bit of what seems like coriander. Things are sort of watered-down compared to other examples of the style, making this come across as nearly bland. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a particularly smooth feel. Overall, though a pleasant-enough drinking experience, this was just an average hef at best.
