Local place off the beaten path (good thing). Service great. Nice selection. Great food too. A lot of fun events. My only complaint is the "tour" which basically consists of walking into a room or 2 and getting the "this is where we do this, this is where we do that"
Been awhile so maybe that has changed but perhaps a little history of the brewery, something specific that makes it special and IDK perhaps a few samples to wet the whistle...I know I'm always willing to spend a little more money once I wet the whistle

Great location , you feel like you are in the sticks, Hop vines are in early stages, although it looks like they could use some tending
German style beers are spot on, others are bit more hit & miss with a dominant house yeast strain going on. The Hop & Vine & DIPA were pretty good
Service was decent, not very chatty about their product
Selection not bad about 12 taps
Will be bacl, some food choices, just down the road from a friend's house, so we'll be back...

I was there on a Saturday and things got busy. In a good way. Some locals and even a few regulars, as well as some out of towners. Some doing the beer trail thing, which is fun. The place is small, but quaint. Things got cramped right before the tour started, but it wasn't a bad thing at all. It was nice to see people interested.
The guy who runs the ship seems to be innovative, passionate, resourceful. The use of gravity over pumps in the brewery was cool. Three stories where the stuff just runs down. Novel.
This brewery is sort of off the beaten path, but again, that's not a bad thing either. Many breweries are in industrialized areas, but this one feels like you're out in the country. Nice views, nice big decks. A cool little place.
No food. Just beer.

Saddlebock Brewery is a really neat place. It's small but quite unique. It is a barn design that has three levels. The main level consists of the taproom. The upper level is where they store the grain and the fermenters are in the basement allowing them to gravity feed without pumps. The location is a little off the beaten path but not hard to find. The location, however is to its advantage because you can ride horses up to the brewery or even kayak to it on a river that it pretty close by. I had the sampler while I was there and really enjoyed their beers. The Farmhouse was my favorite. Staff were great too and willing to give recommendations on other local breweries.
