500ml Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Scotland (£1.99):
Light golden amber & a huge, foamy white head a few inches tall that settles down to about 2cm tall after a few seconds.
Citrus & floral notes, quite hoppy for the style with freshly cut grass & bitterness plus oatmeal. Pleasant smelling with some biscuit & bread notes alongside lemon & some bitterness at the end.
Fresh flavours with lemon, citrus & freshly cut grass, the bitterness & oatmeal flavours followed. Some earthy flavours coming through as well & biscuit malts.
Medium with similar carbonation & a dry, bitter finish that I felt was overdone. The mouthfeel was slightly grainy & the balance between the initial citrus flavours & the bitter finish could have been better
Another fairly average beer with the highlights being the fresh & citrus smelling start to the beer but the oatmeal bitterness wasn't particularly great and the beer was fairly run-of-the-mill really.
