Visited the brewery today and filled a few growlers. Mind you, I dislike pumpkin beers but this one was a delicious version.
A-coppery/orange/red with a nice 1 finger tight bubbled eggshell colored head.
S- subtle cinnamon/vanilla/brown sugar and pumpkin.
T-has a smokiness or something I can't get my hands around at the front end then gently moves to a vanilla, floral hops and nutmeg flavor. Very long dry finish. Not cloyingly sweet which is always my turnoff on this style.
M-medium/full body. Perfect to style.
O-very nice beer for what it is. If you are a heavily spiced pumpkin fan this is not for you.
