Copenhagen 29/11 2024. 50 cl bottle from Vinspecialisten, Søndergade, Herning. Dark red label with Christmas Elves crawling around.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,1 cm thick layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet and a bit sugary, malty odor mingling with a bit of alcohol. Sweet dark malts, toffee and caramel. Moderately strong sour grainy scent. Touch of dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, a bit sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and boozy.
More sweet Bock than a Christmas infusion.
