Copenhagen 26/8 2019. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård (Web-shop). Label made out to look type-written, hand written and fairly old fashioned. Long explanations from the brew master about the concept and the beer.

Pours clear maroon with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patches of foam unable to cover the the surface of the beer. No lacing.

The aroma is prominently sweet with lighter smoky notes. Caramel, sugar, salty bacon, salami. Lightly smoked malts providing hints of smoky odor.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a salty touch. Fairly short.

Not a very smoky smoke beer. More sweet and salty than smoked. But if you like your salami...
