Copenhagen 22/6 2025. 50 cl bottle from VinSpecialisten, Søndergade, Herning. Green version of Viborg Bryghus' usual label design.
Pours unclear dark amber with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears after a short while leaving only a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a more subtle tart scent, Sweet biscuits and toffee. Citrus and sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly tick, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness flowed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light sourish undetone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and a bit sugary.
A very sweet take on a Kölch.
