Copenhagen 8/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Fakta - as far as I remember. Lot of gothic scripture to give the right medieval mood before pouring.
Pours clear orange amber with a yellowish head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of fermented fruit, sweet malts with notes of sour berries. Overripe plums. Tart currants.
Soft carbonation and watery palate. Slightly thick, almost flat texture.
Flavor is quite sweet and sugary. Followed by a medium sourness.
A pretty light bock which could use some booze to really hit the mark.

.5L bottle to mug...
A: Great info on the label; pours a golden copper with a cream white, one-finger head; clear, with a few specks of lace.
S: Toasty malts; slightly buttery toffee aroma; hazelnut; nice and sweet, but not overly so.
T: Nice bready flavor with some caramel notes; a barely noticeable touch of leafy bitterness on end; simple yet flavorful.
M: Near full; high carbonation; very good, satisfying feel.
O: A great bock; great taste and mouthfeel; delicious, satisfying and very drinkable! Would be a great beer for the fall.
