look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

.5L bottle poured into a New Belgium globe glass...

A: Light amber / gold; cream head - not much of a head, though; looks a little dark for a tripel.

S: Bready; light banana; clove; pepper; apple; hints of alcohol, especially as it warms.

T: Spicy breadiness; wheatwine-esque; sweet; slightly fruity with some apple / pear notes.

M: Full body; low carbonation; a little hot.

O: A heavy, high alcohol brew at 10.1%; nice flavor, but a bit too much going on.
