A hazy straw colored beer. A low off-white head with some lacing and some curtains.

Smelling of sour cardboard, grape-fruit, pine and nettles.

Tasting some bread, grape-fruit peel, some resin and bitter crushed seeds.

Medium low carbonation, a watery texture. A small body with a coarse dry finish.

It is hard to get an IPA with lots of hops to be balanced at 3.5%, this is no exception, it does not really deliver.

The head is magnificent: Compact, off-white and three fingers high. Good retention, some lacing. The clear liquid is straw yellow (5 EBC).

The smell is hoppy – grapefruits, green grapes, kiwis. But also quite sweet with some wort and honey. It is a bit unbalanced and a little chemic.

The taste is hoppy with quickly passing bitter flavours. Chemical somewhat phenolic notes. Perfumed citric candy notes, some lemon and lime. Light body. The aftertaste is perfumed with citric notes, honey and some red berries. The finish is a bit astringent.

The carbonation is medium strong and fresh. Medium sized short lived bubbles. The liquid is light and dry.

3.5 % ABV beers are sold in Supermarkets in Sweden. This one is tries to be an American IPA at this low ABV. It succeeds partly but is is way to light. I guess it need more malt complexity.
