The arrived, from the tap, a honey color with a minimal head. The beer really was cloudy like honey. Cascade hops come through with a strong pine and lemon-orange aromas. The hops are forward on the palate. The flavor profile is slightly uncouth--as rugged as the terrain surrounding the hamlet of Custer, SD where this brew is available. The hops could use a little depth underpinning them, but the malt is nowhere to be found. Nothing really memorable here, but it was drinkable and hit the spot after a long day of hiking.
