Taster at brewery. Dark, clear brown, ring of head, streaky lacing. Aroma is sweet, roasty. Taste comes in with more sweetness,nutty notes, roasty, dark chocolate. Gets better the more I think about it.

A friend told me about this beer and because of the name I had to try it. Only available on tap at the brewery. Took me two years to make arrangements for a couple of growlers to make it to Texas. Nice brown amber

This is a mids, drinkable, dark-muddy brown: presents a nice, but not overly-done, toastiness, an undercurrent of mild sweetness, and enough hops to intersect with the burnt-caramel, producing a pleasing bitterness across the palate. Nonetheless, it's not anything special—except in its name—but it's very consumable, with a fair amount of body and depth, and exists solidly within the parameters of the style.
