Taster at brewery. Pale golden pour, straw, clear, tiny short-lived head. Light clean aroma, grains. Taste is more clean, crisp malts. Very light on the palate.

a refreshing, drinkable, and super well executed rice lager here, light and poppy, and a little different too, i really liked this, especially with a spicy blackened type chicken sandwich in here. its clear and yellow, not a lot of lasting head from the tap, but enough carbonation when i drink it. a little bit of a jasmine essence maybe from the rice, the lager yeast is delicate but not boring, and there is a really unique and distinctive hop element to this, subtle and non bitter as it is, my senses tell me sorachi ace, but i could be tasting what i want to taste here. i get some light lemon and culinary herbal character to it, awesome with both what i can taste from the rice and the light yeast note. cool grain flavor too, just a pale barley along with the rice it seems, minimal mouthfeel but not watery, there is a soft starch thing from the rice that holds it up. its all real fresh and dry too, satisfying after each sip, and a pint thats gone before i know it. the hops are awesome in this, and the whole thing really scratches an itch, probably pairs well with the sushi they do in here too. excellent and unexpected beer in here, one to be proud of!
