"This beer started its life as 15 gallons of Ten grain to your brain wheat ale, then we added 1 gallon of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc juice and fermeted together. We then infused a 15 gallon keg with 1 pound of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. The Sauvignon blanc brings sweet citrus notes to the brew while the Nelson Sauvin hops bring fruity 'Gooseberry' notes. This brew may be a little HAZY as there are hops in the keg! This brew won a gold medal at the 2013 North American beer awards in experimental beers. This should be savored in a wine glass to open up all the aromas."
Sweet and white wine-like. I personally love Nelson Sauvin, so ordering this was a no-brainer. Adequate carbonation. Best of the beers on tap for the day.
