A - Pitch black pour with a dense, thin burnt toffee colored lacing ring, very little to no apparent carbonation. Lots of legs on the side of the snifter with some mild, sticky lacing.
S - Nose is predominantly coffee, some coffee char, a slight hint of smokiness, dark chocolate, ande very little bourbon popping through.
T - Coffee roast, some vanilla, oak tannin, bourbon. Light lingering bittersweet chocolate with some bourbon.
M - Finishes very dry with slight alcohol effervescence. Medium body and considerably thin for such a big beer.
O - The nose is much better. On the positive side, for 10%, it's pretty well hidden. Needs more body.
