a: Black body and a small dark tan head.
s: Muted overall; faint charred malts, a touch of rye goodness, and a little something "off". Plasic-y medicinal is the best I can describe it.
t: Not very clean tasting, but there were some elements I liked. The roasty malts had an Irish dry stout character I enjoyed and fairly substantial rye worked well. Unfortunately, this did have gritty quality and some lightly sour plastic at the finish.
m: Kind of thin, even for 4%.
o: I like the idea of a rye stout, but this just was not well made.
