Great location (quick walk up from the beach) and nice, relaxed atmosphere. Food was slightly above average pub far. Service was really good and attentive. Beers ranged from average IPA/pale ales to really good sour type beers.

Tasting room/restaurant in Tahoe City. We got appetizers and flights on a Wednesday afternoon right before the restaurant closed (fyi, no food Tues or Wed after 4). 8 taps all included in flight and great variety of exceptional beers, and the food we got was outstanding as well. Todd service and a nice but semi obstructed view of the lake. Cheers!

No food so I hope this doesn't affect the rating. Tahoe mt is by far one of the best breweries in California but never gets press. Incredibly balanced, elegant and innovative beers. No better experience at the tasting room with tons of ales to try, and super chill and welcoming to boot. Seek them out, visit at all costs. Pool and cornhole for gaming.

Great tap room/pub in the heart of Tahoe City. Nice outside seating area, good food and pretty darn great beer. Ample selection of beer to consume in house but when I was there bottles to go were not available :(

During my first visit to Lake Tahoe, we tried a couple of local breweries and weren't generally impressed. We drove around the west side of the lake and stopped at Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company and found what we were looking for. On top of their nice home brew selection (we tried Hot Pants, Rauch Bockman and Porter), they have an impressive list of unique national and international bottles with helpful descriptions. Staff is friendly and the food is higher-end pub style. I would like to have seen a refreshing hefeweizen or wit beer; not all of my fellow non-hopsters would be content with the sour Hot Pants. For my part, give me tater tots and a good Berlinerweiss and call me content for the rest of the day. Note: traffic from South Lake Tahoe in July was awfully slow. Would I do it again? Absolutely.

We only had the pizza, and it was good/very good. There is a brew pub in Truckee though and if you want beer go there. Their beers are some of the best beers I have ever had. In fact it's one of my two favorite breweries. What they do with saison style beers is amazing. They have a solid slew of IPA's. Anything porter or saison based has been an extra base hit! Great brewery for sure.

Stopped in here after a day of skiing. It's perfectly located in Tahoe City on the main drag. They had a eight taps of their own brew and great service. We tried four of them, all decent with the porter being the star. There's plenty of room in the dining area and the bar had about fifteen seats. They have some barrels aging beer in the room, which was cool.
