Our Honey Bee Nectar is a perfect example of a sweet, honeyed beer. Available as a bottle-only ale, this light, golden-coloured beer is the result of our cooperation with North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). The North Wessex Downs ANOB is a unique and spectacular landscape of tranquil open downland, ancient woodland and chalk streams, boasting a beautiful array of wildlife. All of our honey beer’s ingredients, save the hops, come from within the AONB – and the brew has the addition of local honey from Ramsbury, perfectly encapsulating the wonders of the British countryside that spans areas of Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

500ml brown glass bottle.
L: Clear, yellow gold colour with no carbonation and, pretty quickly, no head or lacing.
S: Some light malt and the lightest hint of cabbage.
T: Honey and lemon but very light. Bitterness builds nicely.
F: Medium/light body with a bit of slick and a dry finish.
O: Brewed with honey. The honey is low key but it does thankfully help lift an otherwise quite bland English pale ale.
