Hand pulled pint in ’The Countryman’ which is the name of the brewpub that fronts Liela Cottage beers.
Light golden body with a white foaming head: easy drinking session beer with a mini-bitter finish and smell.
I found it an unassuming brew that although containing a pleasant blend of flavours there was a lack of ’umph’: it is only 3.6% ABV though and ideal for all the local oldies who arrive in their mobility scooters each lunchtime.
