The colour is red-amber; the liquid clear. The finger thick head is compact and yellowish. It sinks slowly into a thick smooth lid.

The smell is fruity, somewhat malty and lightly roasted. Quite a lot of raisins and dried fruits. It is much stronger than I expected.

The taste got an intensive flavour of raisins and matured strong wine. It reminds somewhat of an aged barley wine minus the alcohol! There are some notes of plums and brown sugar. The aftertaste adds some bitter notes and a hint of caramel.

The carbonation is medium strong; the fresh bubbles are very small. The liquid is a little smooth.

This beer surprised me in a positive way; way more (and balanced) flavours than I had expected from a Bolivian beer.
