Had this beer on cask at Uptoberfest in Escanaba, MI. I was completely blown away by this beer. I had no idea what to expect out at a barrel aged farmhouse Amber, but was pleasantly surprised. Pour was extremely dark, more like a thin porter with a reddish amber tint. A large amount of light off-white head, that refused to disipate. The nose was very bright and refreshing. This beer tasted great. Big barrel character and just the right amount of tartness, without being overwhelming. This beer being served from cask was very light and refreshing to drink repeatedly. Easily the best beer I had all day.
