Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a thick milky yellow pale color with a film of a little white cap of a head. Dies off quickly. The aroma had some grassy hops up front with some floral to herbal hoppiness flowing upon a slight funky to earthy spiciness, (coriander, I think). Then some rye and a decent Belgian yeasty/breadiness. The flavor blends the previously mentioned aromas mostly together, somewhat sweet with some funk and earthy spice. Coriander isn’t so much here, but I can’t quite right place the exact spice. Funky/sweet floral aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. ABV is there as projected but doesn’t seem to harm this session. Overall, neat witbier. This is what I think most Belgians would like by an American brewer.
