Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a glossy brown color with a bar pour’s kind of head, slim to none and no lacing. The smell started off with a decent roasted nutty quality to it and then a slight tinge of caramel invaded nicely. The taste beefed up the nutty flavoring a bit and added a decent light chocolate tone underneath. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me. There was a slight nutty creamy aftertaste and a mildly dry finish. Overall, I say this was a good brown ale I could do again.
