This was something that I picked up at the Kwik Trip in Ironwood, Michigan a few months back during my latest run out west. Never had anything from Ore Dock before and this was a nice introduction to them, as it was a good example of the newly-minded Imperial New England IPA on here!
The appearance to this could have been a bit better - but only because this wasn't exactly canned yesterday. Turbid, dark, and golden in appearance, there was more than enough sediment floating around in it as I had to let it settle. Tons of earthy hops, exotic stone fruit, and booze were in the nose as the taste was full of papaya rind, heavy blueberry, deep orange blossom, and subtle sweetness underneath. Heavy-handed, lightly carbonated, and full of grapefruit in the back, this was like many of its similar cousins from these parts.
No date was on here but this had to be at least 4-5 months old and aside from the appearance, this was fun to drink and didn't last in my glass for long. Love the graphic design on the can as this was something straight out of the UP of Michigan. The fermentation gave this just enough funk to separate it from the pack and keep it from being ever more weighted. Worth a go once if you're up by Marquette and come across this!

Hazy golden color, bright and vibrant
Sweet, fruity smell but a slight scent that I don’t like
Hoppy, fruity taste but not overly sweet
Smooth feel that lingers just a bit
Overall, a good hazy ipa

Pours a very hazy orange, nice frothy white head, gobs of lacing on this. Aromatic for sure, citrus fruit, rind. Taste buds were thrilled, citrus, stone fruits. Smooth and creamy, nicely carbonated. I don't like NEIPA's as a rule, but this one worked. No date on the can but I assume it's fresh, I bought it cold at the brewery.

Reeking havoc on the world of malt, Ore Dock blasts the grains with a healthy, heaping dose of hops. Fueled with Amarillo, Simcoe and Mosaic hops, their hazy IPA employs the use of vanilla to keep those hop flavors vivid and bold.
Pouring the expected turbid gold appearance, the frothy Berserker quickly starts teasing the senses with a bold and floral citrus, tropical fruit, herbal and berry-like perfume. Early flavors of shortcake, honeysuckle and cereal coat the tongue with a malty-sweet impression that's just temporary.
As the sweetness works to stick around, they give the hops a plump, rounded and bright taste with those impressions of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, passionfruit and lime. Not to be outdone, an herbal complement of green tea, cannabis and spruce add a fragrant earthiness to its taste while the late palate enjoys a balancing, botanical bitterness.
Medium full in body, the strong and hazy IPA finishes on the sweeter side of malty-dry with an extended afterglow of botanical gin and citronella. The flavors of milk sugars keep the beer balancing sweet to help limit the damage done by the hops.

1. Looks like a typical Hazy IPA. Very Orange.
2. Smells normal, like an IPA. Grapefruit smell.
3. Tastes amazing. Kicks off with an orange peel oberon sort of flavor, but the aftertaste is typical bitter grapefruit like an IPA normally is.
4. Feels a little thick. Very reminiscent of M-43. You can feel some sediment/pulpiness on your tongue.
5. I love this beer. Flavor & mouth feel are amazing. Very much like you smashed orange juice with IPA.

1. Hazy, light orange, more like a grapefruit. Very attractive. White heads dissipates quickly.
2. Typical IPA, pine, grapefruit.
3. Strong presence of grapefruit all across the board, lemon, some apricot and orange.
4. Very dry, bitter aftertaste.
5. Picked in Houghton, Mi, as part of a pick your six pack. Very happy with the results. Recommended.
