The Creemore division have done a nice job on this location, its third incarnation as a beerpub. It is classy, large, well lit. They have made the most of its positives. The location right adjacent to downtown is a positive as well. Well placed bars, wood, and glass. Even at the opening with perhaps a hundred people at any one time, it did not feel crowded.
The initial beers were serviceable, nothing too edgy, consistent with the corporate brewing expectations. I know for sure they can do more and hope some freedom is forthcoming. For consumers transition from yellow fizzy cans to something for stylish, believed to be a growing demographic, this is perfect.
