Poured from 12-ounce can into a straight-sided glass mug. Dark amber in color (SRM 13-14), with a thick eggshell-colored head that left some nice spotty lacing. Good depth of malty flavor, with notes of caramel, dried fruit, and dark bread. Medium bodied, rather sticky on the palate, with slightly spicy hop bitterness and lingering caramel notes on the finish. This one screams for a nice loaded bratwurst for the perfect Oktoberfest pairing. Prost!

Look: Clear, reddish-orange with a thin white head that dissipated quickly.
Smell: Pretty sweet, bready with some spicy notes.
Taste: Follows smell; sweeter in the mouth, aftertaste includes some bittersweet, earthy notes.
Feel: Normal carbonation, medium body.
Overall: Quite enjoyable, just a solid autumn brew.

Nice, rich, medium orange, with a little bit of amber highlights. Really light smelling, sweet spiced, medium light, caramelized malt, with the faintest hint of toffee. A bit of a woody bite up front, then a slightly spiced, medium caramel malt flavor comes in and helps the finish.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and toasted caramel. Sweet caramel malt taste with toffee and a mild bitterness.

Copper colored and crystal clear. Minor head which leaves random spots.
Smells more sour than most märzens. I do also get some pale and crystal malt aromas.
Smooth mouthfeel with a lower carbonation level than the style normally has. Nice deep toasted bread flavor. Nearly no hop like the style dictates. Easy to drink.
