From a single without a date, purchased at John's Grocery, into a hotel tumbler. Pours a hazy apricot with some lazy 1 finger head. nose isn't huge but is persistent...candied orange peel, sweet and juicy tangerine but not zest, a little sweet floral orange blossom. on the tongue, start with some nice bready malt, quickly developing some nice but gentle fruity and floral notes...also a little soapy, that is less than ideal. M: a little hoppy tingle, carb is mid to high, but somehow it is pretty flat on the tongue; the body is somewhere in the middle; the soapy quality kind of coats the tongue in a less than ideal way. On the one hand, this has a lot of good stuff going for it, but the feel has a little something that I find kind of distracting.
