Golden Amber hued IPA with a firm malt presence balanced by bountiful late kettle and dry hopping; this beer is all about celebrating life and the freedom we enjoy to have a crisp refreshing citrusy malt beverage.

Appearance - Pours clear golden color with decent white foamy head spotty lacing around the glass.
Aroma - The aroma is sort of faint and nothing really stands out. Grapefruit, pine and a good bit of malt are present.
Taste - The flavor is pretty malty there are hints of hops and grapefruit as well as pine but mostly malt
Feel - Medium body well carbonated and slightly dry
Overall - Not very impressed with this, not much hop flavor it is middle of the road IPA.

Pours a soapy, off-white head. Wonderful, light citrus aroma. A light golden straw color that is slightly hazy. Starts with a big, bright hop bitterness; lots of tropical citrus, with pine in the background. A medium bitterness that tastes of citrus rind. The finish is lingering citrus rind and a touch or tropical fruit.
This is pretty solid. I don't typically enjoy citrus rind-centered IPA's, but the tropical aspect behind this softens that really well.

Kind of a run of the mill IPA which perhaps makes this beer sound worse than it is. Another way to put it is this is a solid, blue collar basic IPA...nothing wrong with it....nothing spectacular about it...heavy dose of pine and floral notes to this particularly on the aroma...relatively balanced but a slight lean toward the bittering hops...malt does not distinguish itself....carbonation is a little hot...like I said...decent enough to drink...not memorable...would not buy again personally with all the other options out there but if given a months worth of this beer I'd gladly drink it.

Nice local brew, one of Exile's best offerings. Picked up more orange fruit flavor as it warmed

Draft at the brewpub, quick review from written notes.
Saturated orange, bright clarity, compact cap of white foam and spotty lacing around the glass.
Vague C hops, citric astringency, and yeast dominate the aroma.
Taste is bitter with a citric bite, citrus peel and caramel malt,
Medium bodied with ample carbonation. Pretty textbook with no flaws.
