Nice murky rose color, smell of freshly washed raspberries...this was a winner. I would drink this delicate ale more often if I could. No false raspberry flavor, only the good stuff.

A faded pink color with a 1 finger dirty white head. No real collar or lacing on the glass. Aromas of faint raspberry juice. Flavor is similar to the nose with some tart raspberry juice. Light and refreshing feel. A very simple tart beer that would be easy to drink in the summer.

Smell is of raspberry, almost a Kool-Aid type of aroma.
Taste has a slight bit of tartness up front, with a clean and crisp finish. There is a bit of saltiness to the taste, reminiscent of a gose, although I believe the base beer is Beatnik Sour, which is a berliner weisse. A fairly straightforward sour, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours a cloudy pink; white head; strong raspberry and lacto on the nose; taste is the same, a little medicinal, yeasty, with just a hint of cracker-y malt. Only moderately sour--closer to a fruit beer. Light body, medium carb. Easy-drinking, but cloyingly sweet to my taste.
