Brewed with tres leches cakes from PastelerĂa Raquel in Des Moines and aged on whole vanilla beans. A smooth, medium body is layered like a tres leches cake with rich flavors and an aroma of fresh vanilla and cream cake.

Appearance - The beer was black with tan bubbles clinging to the edge of the glass.
Smell - The nose had light notes of sweet malts.
Taste - The profile seemed to be that of an average, run-of-the-mill milk stout. It was slightly sweetened and had a hint of vanilla. The malts were slightly bitter in the finish.
Mouthfeel - With light carbonation, the profile was smooth as a milk stout should be.
Overall - There was nothing wrong with this beer. It was pretty middle of the pack.

L: Pours dark brown to black with a tan head that goes away pretty quickly.
S: The aroma is roasty but sweet. A big scent of vanilla comes through.
T: Taste is great. Definitely a sweetness in there that resembles cake. Vanilla is prevalent and the chocolate comes through as it warms up.
F: creamy and smooth. Minimal carbonation.
O: I love Exile's sour beers, however have not been a huge fan of there other stuff. This however is a very good milk stout and I will probably buy again.

Poured dark brownish black with minimal fizzy head that quickly falls
Smells of vanilla,malts, very sweet
Taste is lots of vanilla, hint of chocolate
Overall I was not too pleased. Maybe I'm just not a milk stout guy. I expected more creaminess and lactose. It was a fun one to try but probably won't get another

Pours black with no head.
The aroma is vanilla, and a dark rich roastiness.
Big sweetness, mostly vanilla, some chocolate followed by a big dry roasty bitter finish.its a bit thin and honestly not my favorite, but it's solid.
